Meet Mignon Enecilla, MD, Geneva Community Health

Helping people achieve a better, healthier life is incredibly rewarding, and I am passionate about empowering my patients to take control of their health and well-being.

Dr. Mignon Enecilla

Dr. Mignon Enecilla grew up in a household where both her parents were chemists, which introduced her to the world of science. This sparked her curiosity and passion for medicine.

After getting her undergraduate degree, Dr. Enecilla became a pharmacist. However, her desire to have a broader impact on patients led her to medical school, where she became a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine.

She believes in preventative medicine—eating well, exercising, and maintaining a positive mindset—and uses this philosophy to keep her patients healthy. This approach allows her to focus on avoiding health issues before they arise rather than treating patients when they’re unwell.

She is deeply committed to improving the quality of life of all her patients, especially older adults, by addressing the interaction of multiple medications, fall prevention, and cognitive health. Educating and guiding patients to make informed health decisions is at the heart of her practice.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, continuously learning, and finding ways to help others. She believes in lifelong growth, whether through reading, exploring new ideas, or expanding her knowledge in healthcare and beyond.
